Stored script execution via unescaped name field
Published Oct 3, 2026 · Updated Oct 3, 2026
Stored XSS in PSM Web Solutions PVT LTD SupportCandy 3.5.3 and earlier lets remote authenticated users run scripts in visitors' browsers. The customer-name field does not adequately sanitize the attacker-supplied 'name' value or escape it when rendering affected pages. Subscriber-level access is sufficient when the 'Register user if not exists' setting is disabled, as it is by default; a visitor must open an injected page for the script to run.
