CVE-2026-94368Network attack vector

Unauthorized object copying via unsigned SigV4 header

Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026

Improper signature verification in Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation allows remote authenticated users to copy signer-accessible objects. Noobaa-core drops unsigned x-amz- headers from the SigV4 calculation but passes x-amz-copy-source to the S3 handler, changing PUT to CopyObject. Exploitation requires a valid presigned PUT URL and permits copying objects reachable with the signer's permissions.
