Authenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F1202 1.2.0.20(408) allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted HTTP request. The referenced proof of concept identifies GO, rather than the CNA's delno parameter, as the value passed through sub_39978 to sprintf without a length check. Low-privilege access to the management endpoint is sufficient, and exploitation can crash httpd or execute code with the service's privileges.
