Cross-user script execution via unescaped status labels
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Stored XSS in Leantime 3.9.0 through 3.9.8 allows remote authenticated users with EDIT permission to run script in other users’ browsers. The Project Dashboard template inserts each status label name with Blade raw-output delimiters instead of HTML-escaping the stored value. Planting the payload requires project EDIT permission, and execution occurs when another user views a dashboard containing the poisoned label.
