Stored XSS via unescaped Kanban group labels
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Stored XSS in the Kanban Board in Leantime 3.9.0 through 3.9.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in viewers' browsers. Tickets::getAllGrouped passes user-controlled status, milestone, assignee, task-type, and project labels to templates that render the labels as raw markup. An authenticated user must control one of those values and a victim must open the affected board; successful execution can perform actions with the victim's application privileges.
