Administrator escalation via CSV batch-resume misalignment
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Privilege escalation in Import and export users and customers 2.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain Administrator access. The batched importer passes a CSV-record count to SplFileObject::seek(), which seeks by physical line and can resume inside a quoted, user-controlled multiline field. Exploitation requires a crafted field before a batch boundary and an authorized manual or recurring import that processes the CSV.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
