Unauthenticated reflected XSS via currency switcher URL
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Reflected XSS in VillaTheme CURCY 2.2.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script through the layout5 currency switcher. The switcher accepts a javascript: value through wmc_current_url, making its navigation target executable in a browser. Exploitation requires a browser to load the attacker-controlled URL on a site using the affected switcher; the resulting script runs in that site's context.
