Client-side script execution via unescaped ID
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
Reflected XSS in Code Projects Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via the eloginwel.php ID parameter. The endpoint inserts the parameter into navigation-link href attributes without HTML escaping, allowing a quote and tag payload to escape the attribute. Execution requires a victim to open a crafted URL; the script runs in the application's browser origin with that victim's session privileges.
