Stored script execution via customer_name rendering
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Indian Invoicing System 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. The add_order.php handler stores customer_name without neutralizing script markup, and the invoice template later renders that value into a web page. A payload executes when another user views the affected invoice template, allowing modification of content in that browser session.
