Remote code execution via unchecked MIME attachments
Published Sep 26, 2026 · Updated Sep 26, 2026
Remote code execution in AcyMailing Enterprise 11.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP by emailing a monitored mailbox. The mailbox-action handler saves MIME parts under media/com_acym/upload without validating the filename extension, placing attacker-supplied PHP beneath the web root. Exploitation requires an enabled monitored mailbox that accepts the message and a web server configured to execute the saved PHP file.
