Timesheet data disclosure via permission-unaware queries
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Missing authorization in ERPNext before 15.121.0 and 16.x before 16.34.0 allows remote authenticated users to read billable timesheet data. Three whitelisted methods query Timesheet and Timesheet Detail records without limiting results to Timesheets and Projects returned by permission-aware frappe.get_list. Any authenticated account able to invoke these methods can enumerate project names, billing amounts, and work descriptions outside its assigned role.
