Admin-level PHP execution via decoded eval content
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Code injection in RooCMS 1.2.0 through 1.4RC2 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP via crafted page content. Frontend rendering decodes stored content back to PHP syntax and passes it directly to eval in roocms/site_pagePHP.php, defeating the write-time encoding. Administrator access to the ACP is required, and injected code runs with the web server process's privileges.
