Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked wan_num copy
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
A buffer overflow in Netcore NBR200V2 1.3.241127.071246 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt routerd memory via wan_num. The vlan_load_form_uci function in /usr/bin/routerd copies attacker-controlled wan_num data into a destination without verifying its length. Low-privileged network access is required; exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability on the router.
