Contributor-level object injection via untrusted SEO imports
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
PHP object injection in SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO 14.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects during SEO import. The import of Yoast, Yoast WooCommerce SEO, or Rank Math data treated post values writable by contributors as trusted input, allowing specially prepared stored values to reach the import path. Contributor-level post-writing access and an import of the planted value are required; the published advisory identifies no specific downstream gadget chain or action.
