MCP credential disclosure via unredacted request logging
Published Sep 19, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Sensitive-data exposure in OpenPanel through commit bad75bdd allows local users with log access to capture MCP authentication tokens. The API request-logging hook records the complete request URL as a string, so key-based logger redaction does not remove the token query value. Access to application stdout or a centralized log store is required; captured credentials permit replay against project analytics and MCP tools.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
