Charging manipulation via replayable wireless commands
Published May 24, 2026 · Updated May 24, 2026
Authentication replay in BESEN BS20 EV Charging Station 20260426 allows attackers to alter charging commands over BLE or Wi-Fi. Mobile-app commands lack encryption and integrity protection, so intercepted UDP packets can be modified or replayed without authentication. Adjacent wireless or local-network access is required; successful manipulation can change charging duration, current, power, or start and stop state.
