Browser script execution via unencoded user fields
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Assessment Management 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. admin/edit-user.php SQL-escapes user-edit fields, stores them, then prints the values into HTML attributes without output encoding; an unmatched id is also reflected. Administrative access is required to submit the fields, and another user must open the affected account's edit page, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled script.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
