Authenticated code execution via unrestricted STDIO executable
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Command injection in SxDevOps 1.0 and 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute programs through MCP STDIO server management. The _StdioMCPClientSession constructor splits the user-controlled endpoint_or_command value and passes the resulting argument list to subprocess.Popen without restricting the executable, while attacker-controlled environment variables are also inherited. Access requires the aiops.mcp.manage permission; execution runs with the Django application's privileges and can expose its data or alter and interrupt the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
