Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized DEPTID
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
SQL injection in itsourcecode.com Leave Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries via a crafted DEPTID value. The department controller passes DEPTID from an edit request into an SQL query without adequate validation or neutralization, enabling time-based injected expressions. Low-privileged application access is required; successful exploitation can read or alter database data and interrupt service within the database account's permissions.
