Object injection via unsafe skin data deserialization
Published Oct 10, 2026 · Updated Oct 10, 2026
Object injection in ThemeREX Convex 1.16.0 and earlier allows attackers to inject PHP objects through crafted skin data. Skin installation and activation deserialize scheme_storage and skin options as objects from untrusted data. Public material does not establish required privileges, an attacker-controlled entry point, or consequences beyond object injection.
