CVE-2026-93808Hinoki check available

Unspecified impact via unchecked EP1 reply lengths

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Improper input validation in Linux before 6.12.111 or 6.18.53 allows physically proximate attackers to cause unspecified impact. usb_ep1_command_reply_dispatch() consumes command-specific fields from an EP1 URB buffer without confirming that actual_length covers them, and one path copies actual_length bytes starting after the command byte. Reaching the flaw requires a supported caiaq USB device to supply a short or malformed EP1 reply; upstream material does not state the resulting security consequence.
