CVE-2026-93804Hinoki check available

Invalid iwlwifi queue use via IBSS disconnect race

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Race condition in Linux mac80211 before 6.12.111 and 6.18.53 allows attackers to trigger invalid iwlwifi queue use. During ieee80211_ibss_disconnect(), carrier shutdown occurs too late to stop cross-CPU TX before the driver leaves the IBSS. The race requires IBSS teardown with in-flight traffic; the published consequence is invalid queue use in iwlwifi, with no broader impact documented.
