Unspecified impact via stale RX pointers
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Use-after-free in Linux 6.12 before 6.12.111 and 6.18 before 6.18.53 allows attackers to cause unspecified impact. When iwl_pcie_tx_init() fails after RX initialization, iwl_pcie_rx_free() frees rx_pool, global_table, rxq, and alloc_page but leaves their live transport pointers non-NULL. A later teardown or retry can access that stale RX state; public sources do not identify an attacker-controlled trigger or a bounded security consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
