Authenticated command execution via unsanitized WPS PIN
Published May 24, 2026 · Updated May 24, 2026
Command injection in Edimax BR-6675nD 1.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands via a crafted WPS PIN. The /goform/formWpsStart handler passes the attacker-controlled pinCode POST parameter to system() without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Access to the router's administrative web interface and valid credentials are required; injected commands run with the handler's device privileges.
