CVE-2026-93762Network attack vector

Data deletion and disclosure via field-name dispatch

Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026

Unsafe reflection in Mongoid's embedded-document query path allows remote attackers to disclose attributes and permanently delete records. In-memory aggregation and embedded-document lookup passed the supplied field name to document methods instead of limiting access to declared field readers or the attributes hash. Exploitation requires an application to pass an externally supplied field name into an affected in-memory query method.
