Stored XSS via unsanitized telegram profile field
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in AdvancedCoding wpForo Forum 3.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a profile field. The profile_update action saves the raw telegram value separately from the sanitized user data, and field_wrap_profile() echoes it after decoding. Subscriber-level access is required; the stored payload executes in the browser of anyone who opens the affected profile page.
