Layout disclosure via noncanonical AutoPage path guard
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Information disclosure in PerlDancer Dancer2 before 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve application layouts via crafted paths. The AutoPage handler compares raw request text with the layout directory, then canonicalizes the path for lookup, so equivalent spellings bypass the guard. The nondefault auto_page setting must be enabled; exposure is limited to application layouts, because the layout wrapping each page is already public.
