Code execution via misleading dependency install hints
Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026
Dependency confusion in IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 allows remote attackers to execute code through misleading provider install hints. Five missing-integration errors in lfx/base/models/model_input_constants.py recommend PyPI package names that do not exist instead of the genuine integration packages. Exploitation requires an attacker to register one of those names and a user to follow the displayed installation command; the flaw does not execute code merely when the server receives a request.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0.0 <=1.12.2

Published CVSS scores
No CVSS assessment is available in this record.
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
