Merchant API secret disclosure via checkout responses
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in PayPlus Payment Gateway 8.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain the merchant API secret key. The Blocks support class inserts the merchant secret into public WooCommerce Blocks payment data and the Store API checkout response. A site must have the plugin configured with a merchant secret; possession of that key permits forged webhook authentication and gateway-settings changes.
