Authenticated command injection via unneutralized POST parameters

Command injection in Edimax EW-7438RPn 1.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the settings endpoint. The formConnectionSetting handler passes attacker-controlled max_Conn or timeOut POST values to system() without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Low-privileged network access is required; the linked PoC uses administrator credentials and names a different Edimax model, leaving EW-7438RPn validation unresolved.
