Authenticated data disclosure via unbound query context
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Missing authorization in ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to read ACL-restricted data through AI chat. ToolDispatcher.executeQuery() runs query_database requests without binding the principal to DatabaseContext, so file-level ACL checks return permissively. Exploitation requires a configured AI assistant and database-level access; impact is limited to reading denied types or buckets.
