Authenticated disclosure and corruption via unchecked engine paths
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Incorrect authorization in ArcadeDB 26.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted data and corrupt indexes. The index and TimeSeries query paths read keys, record IDs, counts, samples, and index entries without invoking LocalBucket's file-ID permission check. Any valid database account with a type-level denial can disclose protected values or desynchronize an index and defeat unique constraints.
