Authenticated TimeSeries data access via bucketless ACL omission
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Arcade Data ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or insert protected TimeSeries samples. The file-ID permission resolver skips TimeSeries types because they have no normal record bucket, leaving no ACL entry and allowing the access check to return true. Exploitation requires low-privilege credentials and a TimeSeries type governed by an explicit deny rule; successful access exposes existing samples or persists unauthorized samples.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
