Private notebook disclosure via unescaped graph tags
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
SQL injection in SiYuan before 3.8.3 allows remote attackers to read private notebook data through the graph endpoint. The graph.go query2Stmt function inserts parsed inline-HTML tag text into SQL LIKE literals without escaping single quotes, allowing a UNION query to cross the publish-access boundary. The endpoint is reachable by publish-mode readers and by anonymous visitors only when publish authentication is disabled; encrypted notebooks are outside the reported impact.
