Subscriber-level file upload via unchecked bridge extraction
Published Oct 11, 2026 · Updated Oct 11, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Veeqo for WooCommerce 2.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write PHP via a Bridge URL. The bridge-installation process downloads and extracts an archive from an unvalidated supplied URL into the WordPress root without restricting who can trigger it. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to place attacker-controlled PHP files there; these mechanism details come from the supplied source record, without independent public corroboration.
