File disclosure via unconfined Helm valuesFiles paths

Published Sep 28, 2026 · Updated Sep 28, 2026

Path traversal in SUSE Rancher Fleet allows remote authenticated users to read bundle-job files through crafted Helm valuesFiles paths. Fleet reads valuesFiles entries in fleet.yaml without confining their resolved paths to the bundle directory, then places the file contents in a generated Bundle. Exploitation requires control of bundle content in a referenced GitRepo; disclosure is limited to files readable by the bundle-processing environment.
