Authenticated SSRF via unvalidated remote media URL
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Server-side request forgery in SveltyCMS 0.0.6 allows remote authenticated users to make server-originated requests via remote media uploads. The /mediagallery/upload-media action passed a user-supplied URL to raw fetch() without validating the destination or redirect chain. Any authenticated user able to submit a remote media URL can reach loopback, private-network, or cloud-metadata services from the server's network context.
