Data theft via unchecked search-operator concatenation
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
SQL injection in ticket search in Znuny allows attackers to read or modify database data via a crafted ContentSearch value. Kernel::System::Ticket::TicketSearch and Kernel::System::Ticket::ArticleSearchIndex::DB concatenate this value into SQL without restricting it to AND or OR. Exploitation requires control of that search parameter; the inspected GenericInterface TicketSearch operation requires authentication, and database impact depends on the application's database permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <6.5.25
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <7.3.7
