Integrity violation via private bulk-action argument injection
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Improper argument binding in Ash 2.17.15 through 3.33.10 allows attackers to alter private bulk-action arguments through submitted parameters. Ash.Actions.Destroy.Bulk.base_changeset/5 and Ash.Actions.Update.Bulk.base_changeset/5 match untrusted keys against all action arguments without checking public?, then apply the matches. Exploitation requires an application to forward user parameters into a bulk update or destroy action with a private argument, allowing application-defined integrity violations or privilege escalation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
