CVE-2026-93432Network attack vector

Cross-site scripting via lost content-type context

Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026

Cross-site scripting in Quarkus Qute in affected Red Hat products allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. The {#eval} helper parses a sub-template without passing the parent template's content type, so the HTML and JSON escapers emit attacker-controlled values as raw text. Exploitation requires an application to feed untrusted data through {#eval} and a user to process the rendered output, enabling browser script execution or JSON data manipulation.
