Cross-vendor product copying via unchecked product ID
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Missing authorization in MarketKing before 2.1.72 allows remote authenticated users to duplicate another vendor's products. The marketking_duplicate_product AJAX action accepts an arbitrary product ID and copies the referenced listing without verifying that the requester owns it. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to assign the copy to the requester's vendor account and expose private product metadata without altering the original listing.
