Gateway host-rule bypass via premature domain-controller detection
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Improper rule enforcement in Devolutions Server 2026.3.5 allows remote authenticated users with PAM edit rights to bypass Gateway host rules. The PAM Active Directory provider detects the domain controller before enforcing the Devolutions Gateway host ruleset, letting a selected host evade those restrictions. Exploitation requires PAM edit permission and use of the affected provider; the bypass permits connections that the configured host rules should block.
