Script execution via unsanitized resumed rich text
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Stored DOM-based XSS in HT Plugins HT Contact Form 2.10.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through draft resume links. The Save & Resume flow stores unsanitized form_data from a Rich Text field and restores it into the page DOM without adequate output escaping. Exploitation requires the Rich Text and Save & Resume features and a user to open an attacker-built resume URL containing the returned draft_key and access_token.
