CVE-2026-93288Hinoki check available

Use-after-free via unsynchronized netfilter teardown

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Use-after-free in Linux kernel nfnetlink_log before 6.12.111 and before 6.18.53 allows attackers to access freed per-network state. nfnl_log_net_exit clears the logger pointer and frees its per-network storage without first waiting for concurrent nf_log_packet RCU readers to finish. Reachability requires network-namespace teardown to race with packet logging; upstream material confirms freed-memory access but publishes no demonstrated crash or stronger consequence.
