CVE-2026-93209

Bluetooth enablement interruption via failed request cloning

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Denial of service in the Linux kernel Bluetooth HCI subsystem allows attackers to interrupt Bluetooth enablement via memory pressure. During hci_send_cmd_sync(), skb_clone() can fail while copying sent_cmd into req_skb, so the completion callback is lost even after firmware returns success. Reaching the flaw requires a synchronous HCI command during low-memory conditions; the waiter then remains pending until a 10-second timeout.
