Kernel use-after-free via stale RPCSEC_GSS credential
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Use-after-free in Linux 6.3 allows remote attackers to trigger stale kernel-memory access via a malformed RPCSEC_GSS credential. svcauth_gss_decode_credbody() stores a borrowed request-page pointer before validating body length but leaves gc_ctx.len from the prior pooled request on failure. Exposure requires server-side RPCSEC_GSS and request reuse; published material does not establish a crash, disclosure, or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
