Unspecified impact via premature IOPF queue release
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux kernel allows attackers to cause unspecified impact during Arm SMMU v3 device teardown. arm_smmu_device_remove() releases the IOPF queue before device-managed cleanup unwinds the event-queue IRQ, whose handler can still use that queue. The public record does not identify an attacker-controlled trigger, required privileges, or whether the stale access causes a crash, data exposure, or another effect.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
