CVE-2026-93132

Kernel hang via nonadvancing ACPI routing loop

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026

A loop error in Linux 6.12 RISC-V ACPI processing allows attackers to hang kernel execution via problematic PCI routing entries. In riscv_acpi_add_prt_dep(), failed link-handle lookup or allocation executes continue before advancing the entry pointer, repeatedly processing the same entry. The affected path requires RISC-V ACPI PCI routing-table processing; public sources do not establish how attackers gain control of those entries.
