CVE-2026-93122Hinoki check available

Kernel memory corruption via oversized UAC rate lists

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in the Linux USB gadget UAC configfs interface allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through crafted rate lists. The UAC1 and UAC2 store handlers parse more than ten comma-separated rates into ten-element p_srates or c_srates arrays without bounding the index. Access to a writable UAC configfs rate attribute is required, and an oversized list writes beyond the corresponding kernel options structure.
