Power-domain shutdown failure via required clock disabling
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Clock mismanagement in Linux's SC8280XP camera driver prevents power-domain shutdown when unused clocks are disabled. The camcc-sc8280xp driver registers CAMCC_GDSC_CLK with the Common Clock Framework, which disables it despite its necessity for GDSC transitions. Exposure requires affected SC8280XP hardware and clock/power-domain synchronization; titan_top_gdsc remains on with a kernel warning, while an attacker-controlled trigger or system crash is not documented.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
